Term 3

The integrated topic in term 3 is 'Social Justice'. During French classes, the Grade 5 and 6 students will explore French vocabulary in relation to 'things we need' and 'things we might like to have'. They will also research the organisation Médecins sans Frontières and make a presentation on 3 interesting facts they learned about the organisation.

 .

Grade 5 and 6  students will also be taking part in the BPPS French Poetry Competition. They will examine the best way to recite a poem in French and will rehearse and memorise it in class, in preparation for the Competition.

The students will learn the poem 'Cher frère blanc' and are encouraged to practice the poem at home, by listening to the recording on Showbie.
